How does Home Staging work?

It begins with an initial consultation, at which time we’ll tour your home both inside and out, taking pictures and notes as we go.  We’ll provide you with a written estimate and pricing for recommended services and then you choose the services you want.  Creative Impressions Home Staging can do as little or as much as you’d like, working within your budget. 

My home isn’t worth being “professionally” staged.

No matter what age, size, area, price range, or condition, EVERY home is worth being staged!  A home staged is likely to sell 50% faster than those that aren’t, according to statistical data. 

The housing market is good and my house doesn’t need to be staged to sell.

Every house eventually sells…it’s a matter of when and for how much.  Even if your home sells quickly in a good market, it doesn’t mean it sold for the amount it could have had it been professionally staged.  Remember, everything you do in preparation to sell your home will bring greater results.   

When should I stage my home?

Ideally, a home should be staged before putting it on the market for sale.  The Realtor community agrees that the most critical time for a home on the market, is the first two weeks.   Interest levels of potential Buyers and the Realtor community is at its highest during this time.  So, it’s extremely important to show your home at its very best from the very beginning. 

My home is already on the market.   Can staging still help?

YES!  Many homes that have been on the market a while may need a fresh approach.  By having your home professionally staged, new photos taken and other minor adjustments, your home will bring NEW interest.   

Why can’t I just stage my own home?    

Most sellers have gotten used to the way their home looks, feels, smells, etc. and therefore don’t always see all of the flaws.  Selling a home is an emotional process and oftentimes hinders the seller’s ability to make the necessary changes.  Having a professional home stager offer an objective view, will allow your home to be marketed and packaged effectively.  Home Stagers prepare homes for sale every day, stay current with the market trends and know what Buyer’s are looking for.  It’s best to leave it up to the professionals.
